what does the real fan do when there wont be 3rd season cause of the low views?

i'll watch it next year if i remember, np, but it is just hilarious that there is year gap between season. Actually 1 year two months as it was sure that there will be 2nd season after first episode

isn't this how tv shows work? one series every year or so... actors/staff are allowed to have lives

and i doubt there will be low views, especially since it will have hit DVD by then and people will be sharing/introducing friends

There's a break of 8 months between Dexter-seasons as well, and that hasn't had an influence on viewers so far so I don't see what makes you think it will in the case of Game of Thrones.

Besides, many people will buy/have bought the books the series is based upon (Martin has been in the bestseller list for weeks with his books) and the DVD will be released in a few months so I doubt a lot of people will forget about it.

I agree with you that 1 year is pretty long and if you really like the season it might even feel like longer.

But still, the writers need time and the actors might've been asked for some other roles in movies or smtn :p
