a DDoS isnt hard to do lol. heck my university website got DDoS the other day because it was results day. Anonymous are large, all they need to do is get everybody accessing the website at the same time multiple times, in a few miliseconds.
Of course they did it.
But theres no reason to be afraid of them or something because I actually don't believe they could hack the really important things like email providers, online banking sites etc. and if you use your paypal email/password for some porn site, fuck you youre stupid.
Also it is fucking pathetic to believe some group of basement-dwellers could change a nation by hacking their website.. What did wikileaks change in the end? Nothing.
lol all the people who supporting antisec lately, yet have no idea what it is and haven't supported it from the years gone by. Only now when the lulzsec guys get media attention claiming they're antisec do people jump on the fagwagon.
Just annoying seeing people going ololol lulzsec da best hack da planet etc etc implying all this shit they're doing is fantastic. There's been so many people like them come and go yet it seems its lulzsec that are sticking out like a sore thumb right now all for the wrong reasons, media continuing to spout shit how they're some elite group of hackers, how people aren't aware of the financial costs are due to people having to cover all this up, get new security audits in to clean up the mess blahdyblah. Sure some stuff they do are entertaining and the obvious problem here is the general publix (even security professionals <- lol and government people) re-using the same god-damn passwords and what not for multiple accounts, which is going to be so easy for identity fraudsters and people looking for a quick £££.
Hard to get my point across in words but there you go :_D
I think I understand what you're getting at. My personal opinion is that they're missing afundamental ideology, like Wikileaks followed with their borderline (or explicitly) illegal actions. I understand it's lulzy to play Tyler Durden and mess with each and everyone just for the sake of it, but if you're missing a defining agenda it's all just moot (see what I did there). Fucking up Bethesda's servers despite enjoying their services has no actual value. I'd understand if they were explicity using their skills to attack sites that actually have questionable aims.
lol everytime I watched the news, they never told about this happening in other countries + they were acting like they were bad people trying to fuck around hahaha.. Just like these'terrorists' described them: 'manipulating assholes'. That was genius.
