Hello CF,
Any Croatians around?
I'm going on holiday to Dubrovnik shortly so I would like to know if anyone has any travel tips or just general advice for someone from staying in country.
Many thanks,
- Josh

The island Bol - You should visit it, it's really a nice island - really romantic (if you are going with the girl?) and else also a great island to relax & enjoy the weather. Really friendly people!
Oh btw - walk the wall in dubrovnik - fucking exhausting & hot, but it is a nice walk.
Change your money there, not here in Europe. (don't know for England tho!)
This is my 8th year in Croatia with my parents & this year, I take my friends with me, It's a damn nice country, really friendly people & weather is almost always nice & steady.
we'll go round the wall though, thanks :)
Bol is really nice, both culturaly & you can see the famous beach. "Golden Horn". :)
last year <3
I just didn't see much places which can tip to Croatia =)
i think you havent been in many countries then!
The place that comes the closest to Croatia is Italy or Bulgaria :)
& you are 100% right about the beauty of the places.
But every country has his downside, I guess I just fell in love with Croatia.
I've been in Italy/Spain/Bulgary/Portugal (which I really liked!)/Sweden (roadtrip) & apart from that I've been on a roadtrip through Eastern Europe avoiding every city we had ever heard about to see the unknown places.
But I rest my case at Croatia being the most friendly, I have to admit I've never really been to the middle of Croatia, always beaches. :)
Even if you try to avoid the big cities, still if you want a good night out, you lose so much money :(
I've been to Montenegro & I had to cross a little part of B&H, I was scared the whole way.
chevapiiiiii
-if u meet a girl in a club and she seems too easy, it's a trap! her 200 cm and 120 kg skinhead boyfriend is prolly outside in the bushes ready to pickpocket u
-be careful with the prices and how much u drink in the clubs, u could easily be unpleasantly surprised.
-never walk alone in the night
-if u have to always take the main streets, and if u see a small group of really drunk people coming towards u, immediately take a sharp turn left or right ur pick.
-don't stare at people no matter how stupid or retarded they look.
-if u're gonna hit on a girl, always check at least 4 meters in diameter if there is a strange guy observing the crowd to see who's gonna try to flirt with his gf so he can pound him hard.
u'd think if he's her boyfriend he should be dancing with her and make out but noooooo. she's dancing alone and he's standing close by to see who's face he can smash. only in croatia
-when u're paying don't show everyone how fat ur wallet is.
-last but not least DON'T LOOK LIKE A TOURIST :DD
on the daylight I'm sure u can manage. I suggest u drink a coffee on the main square "Stradun" cause it's sooooo fucking expensive.
think you are from a different part of Croatia from where I go on vacation :D
infact, rather find a ATM there then take any money with you to exchange.
passport+ copys , foon to call bank when cards are rolled etc:D
enjoy the sun and dont drink the homebrewed liquor they like to give u there, its fucked up haha
ehehehehe :pPpPp
the chicks are finer tho:D
