using my creative x-fi external sound card + x-540, is fucking awesome. i mostly listen to techno beats like hardstyle, dnb, dubstep etc haha
got them for my laptop for when chilling outside etc.
in my own room i use x-540 5.1 surround.. to pissof my sister and girl next door:D
and i liked theyr looks.
easy to set up and they dont break when they fall and stuff. the cord of back left and back right speakers couldve been a bit longer.. i reckon they should be around 5 meters or smthing. they are good enuf for my room but youre room might be alot bigger:P haha
one thing i was wondering, i'm on my shitty pc atm with only a 2.1 supported mobo so would that affect the quality (seeing as they're 5.1 speakers) ?
had the same thing, i bought an external sound card with 5.1 support and epic quality..
( creative x-fi 5.1 surround ) around 50Euros i thought but i wanted it coz i could put it on my desk and it had both earphone aswell as mic-in, so i could play music over boxes and play games with headset with just putting in 2 connectors of the headset.
there are cheaper ones ofc, ( had one of trust before for like 15 euros) and you could check for a 5.1 sound card.
logitech x540
those are rlly loud and u wont regret :P
