Well, it's far away from being a top serie but i enjoyed as usually :D there is everything inside this serie (vampiries etc etc etc)

I would recommend Vampire Diaries but i guess you have seen it before..

Otherwise, mini serie (Walking dead / Game of Thrones), Sci fi (Fringe), Sex and old times (Spartacus, both seasons). You can also watch True blood (vampire stuff.... season 4 started last week)

edit: I'm really bad suggesting series because i'm just addicted, i tend to love everything i've seen :D

it's not a "season 2"... the actor have cancer, so they made another "title" (season 1) explaing what happened before the real season 1 ^^

yes the name is gods of the arena... and about s02 of Blood and Sand, well i think the main actor is not good yet so i heard they gonna continue the serie with another guy.. but i'm not sure!

oh and if you are a true series fan you should really go for "the wire".
its no secret (i think top rated at imdb) but it takes some dedication. best to watch all episodes of one season in a week or so or you will lose track of the plot.

would recommend reading the book(s) before watching the series though! imo it might get a little confusing in the beginning for someone who does not really know all the characters.

series is different. e.g. in the books robb stark is only 15 and i cant quite recall his age in the series but he looks older and behaves differently.

yea well, all the female characters are way too old too :D
i have not yet seen the entire season, only the first 3 episodes, can't say much about it thus far, only the thing i've mentioned about the huge amount of characters who are being introduced in the beginning.

true. but it doesnt get any better. during the "quest for allies" (i lack better words) at the beginning of the second all of the characters themselves are confused especially with the sons that have the same name as the father ("3rd of its name") and such

When I read a book I hate the describing part and afaik the books have lots of those. So I prefer my series.
