not cool journal

ok so i always leave my UPS on even when the pc is off, today i got woke up with the UPS signal *beeep*, clicked the sound thingy, was like wtf electricity didnt go down so why the signal. tried to turn on the pc and it doesnt turn on. sooo i thought it may be either power button on the case or the power supply, but is it even possible that power supply broke while pc was off? :/
tried sticking those 2 pins on the mobo (pwr on) but it doesnt launch my computer either. power supply dead or mobo?
kinda prefer to ask here before mounting shit off and checking power supply on friends pc (which is going to take some time -,- lazy ppl)

try changing mobo battery :p

used the voltage indicator to check if there is a voltage on the mobo and its there, so i think thats not the battery.
