i cant connect to any 2.55 server.. if i connect i get this message:
game code ui_mp_x86.dll failed pure server check
can anyone tell me what to do.. dont tell me "run it as administrator" or delete "UAC", cos nothing of these 2 worked..
i got 2.55 match today against some old m8s for fun, so it would be nice if u can help me :)

Install another ET in a different folder for .55, saves patching. I think its just a patching issue, can be annoying if you want to patch back & forth.
yea did that already, but same situation :/
Strange. Was it a fresh install with nothing carried over from patched? I had the same problem a few years back and I reinstalled a few times and it only worked when it was on a different drive.
se non sbaglio c'era un tool per switchare dalla 2.56 alla 2.55 in pochi secondi.....devo cercare il nome...ma su Google hai visto?

Right Click - Properties - Compability - Run as administrator should be beneath .
