Well i have a wireless connection & with that connection i have little lags in ET. They aren't long but like ~5 secs i lag. Some guy told me that that is because windows searches for other networks but he gave me some code that i had to save as .bat and that worked.
Need help because with this lag i can't play;<< Playing without wireless isn't possible.

Its true that windows is looking after networks but not every 5-10 sek. Besides broadcast wouldnt take so much bandwitch.
I had same thing but my access point [hot spot] was just 5 meters from my pc.
You can blame your device quality x] every those few seconds your wireless shit lose signal.

Well i'm not lagging every 5 secs , but when i lag it takes 5 secs and it's always on the wrong moments :P

true, it feels like i only get it when I spawn so i block or that I lagout with obj and shit, sucks >_<

Create a .bat file with this

"SC.EXE STOP WZCSVC"

This will stop windows for searching wireless networks

Make a .txt file and save it as "nosearch.bat"

Best solution is to use the software that comes with ur wireless card, or use linux :D
