All computer sounds go through microphone

Hello friends!

I have this problem that my PC sends all sounds through the microphone output no matter what. Even when there is no mic plugged in it keeps sending my music, hitsounds, etc.

What u hear is disabled.

OS: Vista. Soundcard: X-FI xtreme gamer

Any ideas?

EDIT: Found the reason! I was using this media hub with which i could change between speakers and headphones easily. Appearently the sound was leaking into microphone input somehow from it so i threw it away.
