Depending on the weight you put it you change the dpi of your mouse. The more weights the more dpi, afaik if you use none its 400dpi. Dont use more or you might get neg accel. And dont patch it with usbrate shit. It works 500hz out of the box on any pc you plug it in.

Kinda enjoyed it, standard mx500 shape but has one fewer button. I used those side buttons with logitech mice, especialy in a slow game like ET where you can use them for a lot of stuff especialy selfkilling. Side buttons on razer mice dont works as you hold them differently.

My aunti bought this one in the store, seller told her it was the best mouse they had (she asked for the wireless but the guy told her not to :DDDDDD )
is the weight/dpi stuff true?

Try it: set sensi so you can do a 180 turn in like 25 cm, and then perform it fast, like you would do when you get surprised or like you do when making a rocketjump in Q3/cpma. The cursor/crosshair won't come with you when you do it fast. It will "hang" or "being interrupted". So if you like the G5, you play highsens only I guess. Then we also miss a side button which is fckn stupid. And it doesn't work in icemat (glass).

I tested the G5 on the following surfaces, all DPI/drivers/non drivers:

Qpad CT
Icemat2nd
QcKsteel
wooden desk
cheap plastic mat
cheap cloth mat

It was pretty much the same behaviour on all surfaces, except for icemat ofc, that didn't work as allready stated on the G5 packagebox.
