crashing

This is just ridiculous, tried to play ET for old times sake and ofc it was super fun, but every time the map changes, I get to play some 5 minutes and then the whole game crashes "ET.exe stopped working blabla". I guess it might have something to do with Slac but not sure. Running on Windows 7 64bit and can't remember having such problems with punkbuster servers. I also tried different configs, didn't help.
Any1 have any idea is there a solution for this?

mine crashes w/o telling me why. happens after 10min. cant play anymore and it sucks.

so if anyone has ideas or recommends me a new pc. please advice

Yeap, doesn't tell anything to me either, just crashes but only when map changes, if the same map keeps on going I could play there forever w/o crashing!

Oh wow, I got it to work by lowering hunkmegs, oh the joy!
