Since I lost my foam stuff around my own earplugs this holiday I'm unable to run without them falling out ;_; big ears ;_; anyway, Wondering if anyone here is using in-ear headphones for running etc.

got some in-ear headset for iphone from sennheiser
50€
its ok
i've got the sennheiser cx300 headphones.

had like 2 pairs of these in the last...3 years? there's probably loads of better ones but i've sorta grown to like them, they're somewhat cheap(round 30...40 euros??) and they don't really break that easy.

use mine everyday for running/biking.
got some sennheiser cx500 and theyre awesome
skullcandy best
Sennheiser CX 300

(DONT buy the newer CX 300 II !!)
What's wrong with the CX 300 "II" version ?

they simply suck - the sound is overall not as good as before, very weak Bass etc. Also they break after 2 months. Not a Sennheiser like product, but the "CX 300" are way better. You could also go for the Ultimate Ears MetroFi 170.

question is what are best in ear headphones and I can only see mediocore CX300 here...
The IEMs on market are these ones:
- 1964EARS 1964-T
- Audio-Technica CK100
- Westone 4
- Shure SE535
- EarSonics SM3
pick one with sound signature which matches your preferences. I am currently going into Monster Miles Davis Tribute, they are much cheaper then ones above, they look awesome, comes with a lot of accessories and sound should what I like (clean with deep basses :P ). Another solutions for lower budgets would be Westone 2, Audio-Technica CK10, Monster Turbine Pro Copper, Sennheiser IE8 or Earsonics SM2 DLX.
239 euro for some earplugs isn't really lowbudget imo :p (sennheiser IE8) Im going for the CX 300-II Precision :)

well, you asked fort the best IEM, I gave you top of the top, every IEM I mentioned in my post has sound performance above 9 out of 10 in reviews (top5 are 9.5+), CX 300 are somewhere around 5/10, there are better IEMs out there for same price. Should have said whats your budget at the begining I guess :)

Always loved the sound of sennheiser and it seems this one is the most valuable for it's price. Was running with my sansa clip plus headphones, so anything is better :) This one will do fine ;)

400 € and more for IME?! I would never ever spend so much money for this tbh :D Most ppl. just use them for Sport / Gym etc.

thats the price to get THE BEST, nobody is forcing you to buy them, if you are satisfied with shit sound then you are good with $50 in-ear phones. Its the same almost everywhere, you need to pay more to get the best quality. I like to enjoy quality, so I am willing to pay more (sometimes way more) than many others would do. But I dont go blindlessly for the most expensive products right away, nothing is better than reading shitloads of reviews and trying to find lowest price possible for wanted good :)
