fragmovie help

Hey crossfire mates
I am creating a fragmovie from myself and its working very good(unexpected :X)
now I have a testclip.avi(runtime 2mins) with 398863KB I think that too much. How can I reduce it to maybe 20000KB?

stop recording with 500 fps and 3840x2160 pixels.

no seriously, tell me the settings you recorded with (fps, screensize etc.) and which programms/codecs you used, would be easier to find a solution then..

with fraps 60 fps, 720x480
programm used: fraps, vegas pro 9.0

render in vegas (uncompressed)
.avi
then render .mp3

then use megui to compress

personaly i rather go with xfire then with fraps, because sounds sux in fraps, but so does the quality in xfire, but idc :)

options create avs script (serch for ur avi)
ok,save,close
lower box in megui is for mp3 select the mp3, autoencode, select mp4, change bitrate to 8500 (u dont need more then 8500, u can try 7500 6500for lower size)

You're doing something wrong if you get poor sound quality in Fraps. On the other hand the Xfire recorder is just horrible.

make sure to set fps in vegas as 30, and encode with xvid or x264 in vegas, no point to use megui if u used fraps
