He needs it for school, photoshop etc. and hes a gamer.

I'm also currently looking for a laptop. Want to buy it in august/september. Atm I'm kinda focused on this one here http://www.packardbell.de/pb/de/DE/content/model/LX.BT802.002 . Sells for 579 Euro in Germany.

Haven't found a better "normal" offer yet. Maybe I get lucky with some school start discount etc :-)

I'm up for other suggestions! Max budget is 600 and I would like to play some games on it of course. Don't need 16x AA, 1920xWhatever resolutions or insane shader stuff.

Old i5 without SandyBridge technology and a weaker graphicscard. Design is pretty nice however, but I prefer performance over design :)

I have had one of the MSI Gaming series laptops for a year and I really rate it highly, I'm actually selling it right now for 900 quid - they have some great deals new for 1200-1500
