In reality you just strenghten them and thanks to the romans this little jewish sect called christianity is now the plague we know today.
Billions of ppl live with and for their religion everyday, what do you think happens when u ban everything they have ever believed in and found true, something which possesses their daily lives. I dont think thatll do any good.
for instance, IIRC some communist countries banned religion. Well, we can all see what has become of them.. ( surely not only that religion was banned being, was the cause for this )
yes, but, depends on what you mean by banning, i mean you cant ban people from believing crap can you? it would be hard, take for example soviet union, didn't they ban religion?
Though I agree with banning religious schools, I disagree with your reasoning. They're not getting brainwashed there, but it just causes seperation in a society.
by brainwhased i mean, i wouldnt want my son /daughter to be taught god jesus and stuff exist when you are like 5 years old and be forced to sing religious song and go confess. I had that and it sucked, but still i am a non believer, maybe cause my parents arent either, but still i had to go to catholic school till i was 12 cause they kinda pwn governement school .
