opera 100fps quakelive

trying out opera today and i cant get more than 100 fps in opera.. com_maxfps is set to 125 and in firefox i have 125fps easily.

Any fix for that?

@edit: and now i cant even log in anymore because it says another instance of quakelive is running.. but there isnt another instance -.-

Both the problems you have i had many times till the point where i just use firefox for QL. Also, when watching youtube with opera, if i change the sound in the middle of the video it crashes.

It isnt constant, but happens randomly. I would advise not to use opera, as the constant logging out problem is rly frustrating.

hmm I´m now testing out chrome (firefox with 50-90 tabs opened all the time isnt working well on my laptop.. i dont know if 4gb ram isnt enough.. or my ssd still beeing to slow.. or my cpu isnt enough for it) however, that greenclon guy below states that QL also is buggy with chrome?

Do you use chrome yourself? For now i find it way better than opera (altough the most annoying part is still there: after 20 tabs opened, the tabs are so small that u can not even really see the icon of each tab anymore.. but the "vertical tabs" addon is quite a nice fix for that).

using chrome for QL and having many problems aswell. guess FF is just best browser to use
