htc's + wifi

i have seen a journal about htcs that said that they have capabilities to create a wifi hotspot, and have a couple of questions :)

1) do they create a WEP thing or is it WPA-TKIP sort of connection? (becaue my gay ds cant connect to anything other than gay WEP -.-)

2) do any of these have actual buttons, rather than a touchscreen? cant fucking stand touchscreens

3) (optional) gief links of cheap htcs that have buttons and wifi!

Just checked and I can make a WEP hotspot too. Quite sure I saw a commercial with a keyboard somewhere but I don't remember the name.

- no safety at all (open hotspot)
- WEP
- WPA
- WPA2

true, but imo it depends on the firmwareversion which stuff it supports (ofc also on hardware), but most stuff should be software dependant... so he should rather get to know which version supports what and which is available to which phones

they all support wep, wpa, wpa2 and open hotspots afaik

not sure about buttons:d
