You only need a small greenscreen because you can create the backgrounds to be static and animate them for every frame.

With all thouse effects I can imagine how good actor you need to be to visualise all thouse things and understand what is going on.

Ye, it really brings another factor into acting. Of course all actors have been working with sets and such but for example the dragons in this vid make it extra hard for the actor.
