Where did I praise laptop-like keyboards? And yes, mechanical boards cost more than traditional keyboards and that's for a reason.

And reckon people don't buy keyboards to become better players but to have a more durable and comfortable keyboard.

havd plenty mechanical, stupid multimedia shit, logitech G15 but they don't last=me throwing them out :P just picky about the distance between the keys around the arrows!

Had to buy new keyboard yday as I ruined my 14yr old one, stupid delete/end/pagedown a bit too high up though :'(

If I must say care bout keyboard bro. I just use some £6 DELL one. Gaming keyboards I wouldnt say give as much difference as gaming mice. Just get any keyboard and save money belive me paying out on gaming keyboards wont give any difference!

But I got mx518 with the razer sphex AWSOME!

Using Razer Arctosa (doesn't have good feel on the keys imo), might go for the Steelseries 6Gv2 that Noorgin stated above.

MX518 (might get Ikari Laser), and got 2 old QcKs and one QcK+ in its package (brand new) and got 9HD to be tested.

the g6v2 is nice, but I'm not as pleased with blacks as I thought I would be. if you have the possibility, try brown switches (zowie celeritas)
