ASM Summer TF2 Tournament starts today

i dunno the answer to this question, all i know is skk! is all over that SHIZZLE.
ME & DAT BRO NDL have been doin work nigguh!! Makin beats in the lab, and puttin them down on some heavy medic combo ting, do u get me ? NDL is like a BEAST on the rawket lawn chair, he just brings dat soldier game! HE GOIN 2 WAR! DERS a war outside and me and ndl be runnin dat 4 da BLU nigguhs in the molos gurl. Me & ndl drink atleast 1 bottle of ALZE before we go hard, take one line of cocaine off one anothers penis and go HARD with the flare gun, do u get me?



My impression would be that the competitive community hasn't really gained from f2p, as most people are probably playing it as a pub game.
I used to frequent the multiplayuk pickup channel when it was going strong, which I really enjoyed since as a competitve game, tf2 is actually really fun. Excuse the pun but the channel hasn't really pickedup (LOL) at all since f2p. :<

I wouldn't say it's any better or worse, competitively that is. Obviously there are many more public players (steam stats), and obviously a few more in the comp scene (i guess)... but none of them can compete for the top and most won't look to attend any events because of it. It's still not like CSS or COD4 where everyone beleives they can be number one (true or not)... i'd still compare it to Quake in that sense.

I'd like to be wrong though, away from ET it's the most enjoyable team game i like playing (not sure about watching...).
