PB Freezes?

This only happens on ET/Q3/RTCW since the last couple of hours on PB enabled servers.

Once I connect I start getting small whole computer freezes, in game or out of game and an annoying buzzing sound for ~5-10 seconds. IT's really fucking annoying and unplayable, so is there any known workaround?

Chip: AMD 3000+
GFX: geforce 7900GTX - latest drivers
os: XP SP2

its the latest pb update- happened on the last update too - wait a few days for them to sort it out - or perhaps email them so they know about it if not already

I have to play two show matches tomorrow, there isn't time to flame them in support tickets.

this happened to one of my teammates as well. he got kicked in middle of war :/ it was gonna be a gd war too :'( imma go play my violin
