Croatians In Split

Hey chaps,

So I've made a slight cock up & can't get my InterRail pass delivered before I've left the country. Had to wait until payday to buy & well fuck :(

So my question is what are train prices like in the country? This may basically fuck up my journey plans as I had intended to travel from Croatia to Amsterdam over 2 weeks & get the ferry back across. Doubt I can afford that without the pass =(((

Equally getting from Split to Sibenik, is that fairly easy?

I know this is an odd question - no way to postpone the vacation until the pass arrives? Also I believe you can purchase inter rail passes from major hub train stations
Potentially, be pissed to loose the £100 train & plane ticket to get onto the mainland. Pretty much costs me as much to get off these shores as it does to travel anywhere in Europe :)

I've only until 20 August booked off so it's not a long trip, and the original plan was to hit a festival in Sibenik at the start of the week & then one in Germany the following weekend with the rest of the week for wherever.

The three options I'm looking at are either delay, remain in Croatia or book a hotel in Germany to deliver there Wednesday & hope I can find a cheap flight or train ticket. If you can actually buy at a station that'd be awesome, waiting on a reply from InterRail customer services.

Always knew my disorganisation would fuck me over >/

Jesus that really sucks man :/
I'm just an idiot, could afford it but didn't want to risk going into my overdraft :/

Ok so I managed to get through to the customer service people, they only deal with the web orders but they said you can buy in person at most large train stations across Europe apart from the UK!

So any Split residents able to confirm whether they're on sale there? <3
I don't think there's anyone here from split

Is not so expensive, comparing with other countrys ofc.
Anyway the ferry is too expensive so I recomend you to comeback by train. Dunno about your plans but i think that by train u have to go like this : split - zagreb - Budapest or Ljbujiana. from Zagreb you can actually choose two diferent ways.

bus is also other option to travel inside croatia, dont cost too much and probably will spend less time then the train, since it took me almost 8hours to travel by train between zagreb and split.

and ofc you can buy the interrail pass in any strainstation :P
Split -> Zabreb -> Munich -> Frankfurt -> Brussels -> Amsterdam

Hmm not quite the journey you'd brag about :D could be fun. That's pretty much the crow flies & can be done with no transfers.
