yes it has been, for the past 6 or 7 years? It's just a fluke, unless they've done something so amazing that everyone likes it I'm guessing it's back to it's 'normal' state within 2 weeks
ofc it was, ET has been free for years and got consistent amount of players. I'm obviously aware that Brink has only got high numbers because of this free promotion and the fact that it's displayed on the steam homepage :D
but my point is, that with this, release of dlc and after quakecon and gamescom and with some fixing, there is a big opportunity for it.. but without patching, it's gay.. but i'll continue to play it as long as there are tournaments with this amount of money in it.. i mean, for this one tournament (esl championship), it's more than 4 ET lans combined.. then there's also quakecon and random esl challenge with like 3/4k worth of hardware..
it's all about promotion and sponsors end of the day.
Yeh, I understand ur point why u still playin it. TBH, I hope it gets some fixes so it can be considered as a good FPS. I might start owning it up aswell then, if I get a new PC at that time tho :p
Don;t think there will be a shooter comming out for PC only tho, so that sux :[
hows work? still cruising around with the trucks?
Daarom denk ik
TAKE THAT
so that's just another 4,000 players added to 11,000 peak on steam which makes 15,000 players today :O
