get a extension lead(Verlengsnoer) cut of the female part(of the wire), split and strip the ends and tape it on both sides of his head or maybe near his heart dunno, and then plug it in. doesnt leave any marks

or of its a puppy kick it under a car "oops it got loose"

call the dog "mystic" or smth and make a fragmovie
