Just watched the final episode of season 1

God things are fucked up! Steven Spielberg did an awesome job again! Didn't think it was gonna be good at first but now I love it!

You fellows should watch it too !!!

Yes, because the first episode aired June 19th. That is pretty self-explanatory. The final episodes however are aired August 13th and 14th. You can't explain that.

I haven't watched a single episode of that show, but since I'm about to finish Firefly I need a new show to watch and Falling Skies seems decent, so I looked into it. It just struck me when I checked imdb that they're airing this weekend, but upon checking the forum I noticed they were in fact out already.

It's like a western set in space. In fact it's pretty low-key and partly very cliché. A group of rogue space freelancers go from planet to planet to do jobs of all sorts. The charme of the series stems from it's combination of humor with actually quite logic predictions of the future. No aliens and not as technical as Star Trek, yet highly watchable due to it's pretty nice cast. Getting to know the entire political spectrum would have been a nice premise if the show had survived its first season.
