Partitioning my hd

Hi,

I'm tired of not being able to play ET and since formatting might be a solution to the PB problem, I want to give it a go. Since I don't have an external hdd, I need some partition on my hdd. I should have done that when I got my laptop, but I forgot. Do you guys know a program that partition your hdd without any data loss or at least almost no data loss?

I tried partition magic, didnt work and I had delete everything on the hard drive and re-install windows, buy a new hard drive instead, thats my advice
