Also who the hell needs 11400CPI?
Regardless, seems like a Xai 2.0, if/when my Xai breaks I'll probably consider that. I really like the shape on this and that one seems to have the same body.
E: The processor is an interesting thing though.... Some firmware hacks, and really sophisticated in-mouse aimbots and stuff, anyone? Although seeing the lack of specs it's probably nothing too revolutionary in reality.
+ some other things nobody expect the guys at esreality.com care about
here, at crossfire, nobody besides shuki and h8m3 (and me hihi) has got any clue (well some good players like perfo and meez have some knowledge on that matter, but not as much as those guys mentioned above imo)
Of course the sensor problems people like h8m3 keep whining about are not nice, but even if there was some acceleration, it's so minimal that it's practically nonexistant. The polling rate is stable too, contrary to what some people claim.
In the end, it all boils down to personal preference. I think the LCD is a nice idea, as I don't need to install any kinds of drivers at all with it, but some might find it useless.
that useless screen only has downsides: it weights quite a bit and it makes for a good reason to sell the product for ridiculous amounts of money.
I don't consider the positive accel (which is a fact) as an issue, but I do consider having heavy issues with it when using a cloth mousepad (particularly caused by dust) as a really big downside.
But anyway, it's just personal preference. I'm fine with laser mice, while many people avoid them like a plague. I'm also fine with heavier mice, while some people don't like them at all (is it because you need to lift it a lot or what?). Mice are like shoes, you should use whatever you find comfortable for your purposes.
we don't lift our mice a lot
but comfort and fast flicking demands a low weight
for et a bit heavier mouse is actually preferred (I can't play ET very well with i.e. a salmosa / abyssus / kinzu / wmo etc. - they are all too light for my taste)
I wrote a new comment to make sure you notice the new info.
but that's not gonna happen because if a mouse would actually have no issues at all (great shape, weight, cable, sensor, buttons, scroll, microswitches etc. etc.) people would stop buying new mice.
every mouse has its issues, even the oh-so-perfect abyssus (gamble with getting a good/bad sample of it)
I also wish they made the sensor easier to clean, at the moment (in Xai) it's a ridicilous invagination and it's hard to clean thoroughly. In Ikari, it was "shallower" so that you could just wipe it clean using a piece of cloth.
as well as my previous ikari mouse :)
