Microphone Buzzing v81

Both my microphones give off an annoying buzzing sound to whoever is listening to me on teamspeak or ventrilo. (Logitech Clearchat something, Plantronics Gamecom ).

Does anyone know a way to potentially fix this?

i'm using that & sometimes its like there is a bird in my room. Disabling would fix the bird sounds? : )

Yeah - I cant speak for USB headphones, but Microphone boost on traditional jack headphones causes all sorts of errors that are different on almost every headset & motherboard combo.

You can also just reduce microphone boost from 20db to 10db and that might be a good half way house.

I'm using 10db atm, but still ppl complain about the bird sounds. Tbh the mic from the steelseries 5Hv2 sucks! rest is fine though.

Should sort my mic/s out at some point also, they are a bit shit and everyone saying it's quiet (maybe that's a good thing :D?)

Can get interference when it's close to various electronics, try moving it elsewhere :Pp
