They do unless they're in hide tags, but hosts like tinypic seem to be fucking up a bit as of late (at least over here).

heroes only have 4 skills, the ones that it shows more than 4 for are passive abilities

e.g. the first screenshot is aka soulstealer at hon, so the 3 skills are demon hands, 2 passives are dread + souls, then ulti

6 in total, only 4 actually usable

no, all the heroes still only have 4 USEABLE skills max, ones that only have 4 are as in HoN, see below

shadowfiend (soulstealer) has four skills.
his first skill has three active abilities, then he has two passives and one ulti.

still 4 skills.

I see, instead of one icon they just split them up, and for the all the other heroes it stayed 4 (maybe flux not & master of arms)

you use shortcasts (q,w,e,r) normally anyway so it doesnt matter if they split it up. It wont get more than those 4

has its benefits and drawbacks

i prefer a one off payment than having to buy heroes LoL style, but LoL was way more popular than HoN largely down to it being f2p i guess, if dota2 was f2p and the store was vanity items only i'd be okay with that but i guess they wouldnt make a shit load of money so, i can see why they've done it this way
