desktop styling on xp

Hey guys,

I was wondering how to get a really nice custom desktop style on windows xp sp 3 :O

I used to have stylexp or smth like that for the sp2, but since the sp3 came out it doesn't work anymore.

So my question is: Are there any good websites where I can download themes for windows xp service pack 3 and how to install them? Would be gratefull for every help (:

You can download windowsblinds and more there. Windowsblinds is bascially a windows skinner. There are great skins on the site as well. I'm not sure how it all works now since I last used it 3 years ago but back then you could have some sort of trial with infinite duration.

it works for xp as far as I know. it was working for xp 3 years back, don't think it became vista+ only from then. let me check.

Go to explore > windowsblinds.
You'll find all the free skins there. I only see a purchase button so you might have to find a pirated version on the webz.

Best imo is UX Theme Patcher, the one triflip posted below. Doesn't install more than necessary and works a charm.
