However, the offer that he received from EG wasn't just significant, it was potentially life-changing.

I'm not saying money was the only reason, but it must've played a big role in his decision

i seriously hope you are not serious there.

first look at my reply to loazis, and second if you know huk a bit, and how much of a social guy he is and finds honesty important, you can definately know that he did not at all went for the money.

also i suggest reading his note towards all this on the TL newspage if you still dont know what im talking about

i am serious, it was about the money, i aint saying that in a bad thing though but that is why he left, EG can help him achieve his goals by flying him everywhere to participate, he got offered a 6 figure salary, hes not going to turn that down, and i am sure he is sorry that he leaves TL and does feel bad but all in all its about the money (dont get me wrong i am seriously not trying to bash HuK he choose the smart option but it was to do with money)

But do you honestly think he will improve more playing with idra and puma then playing with oGs?

No all huk cares about is winning gsl, tahts why hes away for 8 months, and is practicing at a korean rate, the only way huk would leave to another team, is if they could help him with that more than TL can.

i think he also cares to actually have money if things dont work out and thats what EG is offering him, the way they help him is by money, so even if he doesnt win GSL he has some money saved up in the bank for himself :P he did say it himself that staying in TL would hurt him in a business matter, im sure it will work out well and because of what EG can afford he will be going to more western events so all in all its probably good for HuK and his fans

i think it's a great step for huk, and he's my favorite player and i understand his decision completly, he has a clear dream, and that is to win GSL, when theres a team who can offer you full training facilities, sick teammates, and a salary to chase that goal, you should go for it and everyone else would do too.

as huk and all of TL said he was willing to stay for like half the money TL could offer him, but that for his goals EG could offer him 12x as more..

idra is a very smart and analytical guy, also very confident in his abilities (wich often gets mistaken for arrogance)

only thing i dislike him is his mindset, wich makes him half as strong as he could be, but i hope living with huk can change that :)

well first huk and jinro are kind of 'guests' there, as its owned by oGs and he's bound to foreign coaches and teammates, wich arent really his teamates and coaches.

he'll find himself now having his own team, his own management, his own teammates. also one who speaks the same language and also understands the game on the same level he did (not saying he didnt have jinro for that job there. but idra is still very very talented)

also maybe idra might even benefit from huks mindset, w ich i hope, cuz its the only thing i dislike about idra
