6on6 cup coming

After I've read different journals, columns and poll results, I thought I'd be a good idea to host a 6on6 onedaycup, just to prove that the community still loves that format and maybe to revive the channel/ladder.
It's has been ±6 months since Lazio's #revive.6on6 cup, which unfortunately didn't give any results iirc.
5-6 months ago #et.gather was active and running good, but since I had no internet anymore, it died. (last game ±18 weeks ago) So the channel is still open if you want to play some awesome 6on6 mixes. More info here.

I've got a few people in mind who I could contact to lend me a few servers with the 6on6 config, but any help is appreciated, so if anyone wants to help, idle #6on6.cup and contact me! More info will be posted soon on the IRC channel, so stay tuned to be the first to sign up!

A one day cup isn't a way to prove the community want to play 6on6. Do something long term and let the community themselves prove they want to play 6on6 by keeping the tournament active and not dropping out.

This is just the first step, to see if the community follows. Bigger men will do the bigger job. I'm just Goku lol I ain't gonna save ET

Inactive players dont want to join longer cups if they think they'll be not able to finish them and dont want to fuck up their teams.. shorter cups would be much more appealing. Obviously longer ones are needed aswell but those shouldnt be in for the cost of onedaycups. Goes for both formats, not only 6v6.

Lineups aren't stable because the plans are always short term. More long-term plans means people will focus on a lineup that will be durable rather than looking for a temporary lineup.

It needs to be a gradual progressive trend.
