So my g9 is dead, so i need a new mouse.
Is it buying a deathadder or should i just buy a mx518?
Or whats a other good cheap mouse

you want something cheap? buy razer poo mice i sold my DA $40 weird shape for alien hands. Just don't buy old tech like mx518 we are in 2011!!!

For some reason the old models perform way better than the newer versions though and come with less flaws :-)

(old DA vs new DA, probably the same with the mx518 and even the old Diamondback was better than the 3G version)

Will just wait and see how things are going. If 6on6 is actually coming back as the main format I'd be more than happy! But even with 5on5 I will consider playing again if the right opportunities arise (LANs, cups, teams, activity).

I can agree on that some people still prefer mx510 over 518v1 or v2 , from what i've noticed on these forums people are using pads made for Laser mice or optical on the wrong type of mice, i once posted in that tutorial some one saying s*** pad yet that moron was using optical on a laser surface which makes me laugh @ these supposely high skillers, i've tested a plastic surface meant for laser sensor when i used optical sensor it didn't work yet was super accurate with laser. You have to know about materials used and thread count to really know if you're getting quality over quantity a cloth pad with example 100 thread counts will have many holes compared to 500 thread count so sensor will be going into the holes instead of reflecting? compared to a more tightly knit pad. You don't need to buy $20-30 mousepad when you know about these things it's all about selling the common folk overpriced products. About mice the problem is up there....and your grip style.

Would you care to have an attempt to repair your Logitech G9 mouse? Does the light flicker on and off? Cable loose?
If so, save it for a bit longer and check out a tutorial that I'll be putting up on Crossfire in 5 days time! It's an easy fix with a few simple tools.
