commands

ive been messing around with the commands

s_mixahead & s_mixprestep & s_khz a few times now, and it kind of changes the feeling when you hit someone (dunno if this is placebo or not?!) in ET and the sound of it, now i really dont know what these commands really do and what the optimal settings are...

s_khz is just the quality, you can choose between 22 (high quality) and 44 (ultra high quality)

s_mixahead is also influencing the sound quality, if u put it on a too high level, your fps will go down, if you put it on a too low level, the sound quality is damn bad, it can influence the amount of fps up to 10fps up or down

well the explanation for s_mixahead = for mixing audio

doesnt help alot now :p and no explanation for s_mixprestep :p

Go for the default values and try to work a bit on your english or put a little bit more effort in your posts

Leave them default, you need to change the values sometimes if you are using an external soundcard (for example I had to change mine ages ago because the sound in game was delayed) I'm not 100% sure what they are actually for though :P
