well the omega drivers for the radeo 9500 pro/9700 were good as well and the card was running like hell. for that time this gfx was realy cheap and got power :)

I'm talking even earlier :-D

Had a Radeon 7000 as well as a 8000 (or something) and both were suffering really bad from driver problems. Switched to a GF4 Ti 4200 (fuck yea!) later on and never had an ATI card again.

I even still remember purchasing a Monster 3D Voodoo card as my very first 3d graphicscard and later on a 32 (!!!) MB Diamond Stealth III :-D

ok i never got a 7000 or 8000 but I've got only the 9500pro btw i have the system still in my room full passive cooling(cpu & gpu) so nice, i don't hear anything when the computer is on ^^ and i have an other computer with an old intel dual core and oh there is a ati as well in it but don't know which one. but that system wasn't that bad and full watercooling inside (cpu, gpu and hdd). that computer is totaly heavy i just need a hand truck to transport that computer anywhere to ^^

wasn an der graka dran oder einfach nur ne neue gekauft und die wird nicht mehr gebraucht weil der luefter sieht recht klein aus und koennte ziemlich krach machen.

Nichts habe stabil 125 fps auf allen maps, und cod4 250 auf allen wenn ich aufmache dann 1000 locker! läuft 1A wenn du meinst sie ist dir zu laut dann kaufste dir für 15 euro ne zalman und baust den drauf, ich finde sie macht kaum geräusche. Habe mir eine neue gekauft für 280.
