Well its partly to do with that and the fact that I am egotistical and arrogant too. It is also for my confidence, but it also relates to what Schnee said. If I walk through an area walking correctly and proudly with a straight back and wearing a nice set of clothes, girls notice you.

I really dont think 9 pairs of shoes is that many though to be honest, and look forward to making the collection bigger. Clothes I am bad with too. Check recent journals for more photos!

Oh I see, well this style is very well known over here. Although I can't say I support branding properly (not because I'm a hipster, more because I dont see the point) I see what you are going for.

Personally, I would go for the seasons colour. White trainers are usually a nono because of the fact that they are white. Instead go for some other high-tops that employ comfort.

Nike Air Force One should be white on white, it's the best imo. But to problem is keeping them white for more than a week. But they are awesome for some custom (selfmade) artwork.

I try to do the same, but after you forget if for a few days the shoes are ruined. Best is to clean them every time after wearing them. But me and probably many more are just too lazy for that.

well i did it like twice a week, didnt knew it was best to do it that often.
my shoes were fucked indeed after some time though (about like 10 months or so). i thought i did well but if my shoes will stay in a better condition cleaning them more often i prolly will:p

well just clean them quick every time, just take a wet mopping cloth (not too wet) and wipe all the dirt of your shoes. And use a spray to protect leather or suede from water damage, best is too respray ur shoes every 2 or 3 months (only spray it on clean shoes).

Doing this kept my white on white air force ones super white for 4 months, was only wearing them when I knew nothing really bad could happen to them though. But after 3 months I just didnt care anymore and used them to take a walk in the mountains when I was on vacation and after that I gave them away to my gf's mom who knew somebody who would still like them.

I've never been one for flimsy fashion clothing! When it comes to clothing, I either buy good, lasting quality, or something extremely cheap that will last from a couple of months to a couple of years. Can't really see sense in paying like 100e for shoes with a crocodile on them, while you can get equally poor quality Made-in-China -stuff for twenty.

Well, I have to admit, that is sort of a problem of mine. I have a few pairs of jeans, which all look the same, two identical BDU trousers, and a few generic dark hoodies, some of which have some printing or patterns on them though. Usually the only notable thing that changes in my attire is the picture on my t-shirt. In my free time I just wear some comfortably loose trackpants.

Depends on the shoes! 15 years might be a bit exaggerated, but my dad has boots and some other trekking shoes that are at least ten years old and still in good shape. I bought my day-to-day shoes four or five years ago, and I expect them to last another four years of use.

On the other hand the way-too-expensive sneakers I had only lasted one summer before the sole came off, while the 17e sneakers from a local market lasted a whole year, before the same end befell them.
