New Monitor

My new monitor came through the post today but just had a few questions. My monitor (Viewsonic 19" VX922) instruction manual is reletively short so it doesnt answer the questions im asking here.

When i swapped from my old to my new monitor, it seemed that the resolution has got bigger which i dont really like. Although my old and new monitors size and resolution are exactly the same.
The native resoltion for my new monitor is 1280 x 1024 and i cant set it above that for some reason. Is there any way to change that?


To cut a long story short, help!

Shouldnt you be spamming ESR hardware forum or smthing. There's an endless amount of retards out here. Someday you should give up on your attempts to enlighten the ET scene.

1280x1024... ouch.. theres not much point scaling it to any other resolution, it won't look very good :<

(I still don't understand why most TFT's have a native res of 1280x1024... it should be 1280x960 fo sure)
