Music from your country?

Hello,
I was listening some Finnish music and I started to wonder what kind of music do they produce in other countries.

So the idea now is the following: Post your favorite songs or if it is too hard to decide, post some songs you like much. Songs must be made by artist who has same nationality as you have.

But I didn't know old artists could count as well (she isn't dead but Claude François mentionned above is), so I would quote Georges Brassens who is the only worth French singer (but he sure is a true master) !
