Ok 3 people @ restaurant pay 30 pounds (10 pounds each) to the waiter for their bill, the waiter gives it to his manager who gives him 5 pounds back for discount, the waiter takes 2 pounds out of this 5 pounds and puts it in his pocket and gives only 3 pounds back to the customers (so they paid 9 pounds each now), so they paid 27 pounds in total, and the waiter took out 2 pounds = 29 pounds ... the bill was 30 pounds ... where did the 1 pound go?
:]
:]
they payed 28!
ANARCHY FTW!
EDIT: Actually, I think I misread the question, I'll try again!
The restaurant received 30-5=25. The customers paid 30-3=27, the difference between the 25 and 27 is the £2 pocketed by the waiter.
the turns and more turns that the problem give, leads us to think as if we were the customers, and we should look at it as an outsider.
u cant say 30-3+2=29
we have to calc binaries :-c
btw hello kamz:)
