What Mousemat 2006?

Currently using an Icemat 2nd Edition however i am starting to think that it might be too "slippy" and not be actually giving the required control that you would expect from a gaming mousemat.

Any suggestions on the best mousemat available at the moment.

(will be combined with a Micorosft Habu)

no but controlled friction is good, as long as the amount of friction is uniform then its not a negative aspect. The icemat i think might be too slippy and therefore not really very well controlled, its just my current excuse for a bad days aim =)

I'm just a poor kid and I have control and it's really good so I won't spend over 20€ to test if speed is better :( But I know it's very good aslike control.

true, Mantis speed is the only pad that comes near my dear old qpad. Only needs a week or so to get it smooth as your glidz keep sticking to the mat in the first few days.

Ok i could get the info on variousselections of mousemats off google, i was kinda hoping for you to actually give some reasoning why i should choose that mousemat over my existing icemat

I've just ordered this, it's gotten great reviews... but as i haven't gotten it yet i really can't comment :'(

but i think it's worth a look :)

Everglide DKT (version 1) according to that mousepad guide, I havent tried one yet though! Still using my QPAD.

Definately a cloth-pad if you want "friction control"... same "style" as me, you should try the Everglide range, supposedly the 'Everglide DKT (Destrukt) Edition' is/was the best cloth pad, if not try the 'Everglide Titan Monstermat'.
