we talked already about it in my last journal about drivin, in some countries you have to take lessons and drive certain amount of hours and pass driving and theory exam to get ur licence, + winter lessons & exam.

in other countries you can iirc to learn to drive with ur parents or some shit

1 lesson was 43 euros.
theoretical exam 30 euro
practical exam 230 euro

pretty expensive

I learned in a Vauxhall Corse 1.6 diesel, but as soon as I passed he went and bought a fucking Audi A3 >_> =D

Oh, and as for my next car, it will most likely be somethiing like a Golf, Astra, that kinda thing.

Well, I was 15 and had 2x mini's to work on as a project. The end result was this

Drove around the area in that for a while practising (on a pivate road of course, as it's illegal AHEM!) After a while I sold that and started on a 1.4 saxo westcoast that you can just see on 2nd pic, got bored bought a BMW 316i coupe and passed my test :)

My R32 takes about 13 average so it wount hurt ur wallet very much :)

in city im getting like 17-19

highway 8/9 depense how i step on gas

and if u really are planing to buy this GTI go for 2004 R32 ( much better )

canadian prices are pretty similar to german prices (which are normally one of the highest compared to usa prices e.g., which are a pretty big joke (paying 35k € for a fucking BMW 335i Coupe while you pay over 50k in germany)), genereally cars are very expensive in europe, so he must be talking about a used mercedes because a new e-class 350cdi bluetec is ~70k € (in finland) which equals your price levels.
e: just realised he is from estland: ~50k € so ye price is cheaper but i dont think that many people in a baltic state can afford that
