hi2u fellow whiners,

Lately I've been bringing you such classics as Transport Tycoon and Quake 1. Today its time for RTCW :D



If you never played the game, there is still a multiplayer demo around, you can play for free. Expect some really oldschool RTCW as you wont be able to do selfkill (you can do it, but you lose lots of XP and eventualy get kicked) There's no spawntimer as there wasnt any when RTCW was released. Besides that there's a few little tricks that might be intersting like trowing away your gun and picking it up again will reload immediatly and getting revived will give you a full charge bar (hi2u uberpanza)

So, if you are bored check out the following link, theres a good Western Europe server "Alien vs Predater" where there's always people playing. There are some real noob people there, once in a while there's some skilled people playing. The game is a bit modded so might you might see some weird stuff like slower panzers and poison needles, but its fun to play. Cu there ;)

No real need for a config imho, all you need is:
seta r_intensity 5 (tell me why that isnt allowed in ET btw)
seta cg_wolfparticles 0
seta cg_shadows 0
seta cg_drawcrosshair 5
seta cg_bobroll 0
seta cg_bobpitch 0
seta cg_bobup 0
make crosshair solid, dunno cmd. You can do that in menu's. You can do some other small tweaking there too.
