Really want this mousepad! But i can't find it anywhere in NL, only in Belgium but they ask 15 euro's for shipping it to NL, which is really high :/ (40 EUR in total)

Anyone else got one? What is your opinion about it and does anyone know where i can get it?

Also i need a new mouse since my DeathAdder shuts down after 10 mins of use. Tried reinstalling th edrivers but that won't do it. Think about a new DA, g400 or g500 but other tips are welcome.

Hm i liked my razer goliathus speed better when it was new but the awsome thing about talent is that it does not wear out. I am using mine for over a year and its still good while every other pad i used was crap after that period of time.

As for mouse i am in the same position as you and i'd advice you to take a look at zowie am.

Yeah i got the same with my qck+, got it for about 2 years now. And it's totally worn out :P

There are 2 version of this mouse am (full rubber) and gs (it has glossy sides) so its up to you what coating you prefer.Some mice have a bug that causes problems when clicking both mouse1 and mouse2 in the same time but the sensor in it is probably the best one on the market atm.

buy steelseries ikari (by far good enough for ET) + puretrack talent/steelseries qck+

why ikari and not xai or sensai

ikari = cheaper and it's a great mouse (i have 1 myself, dont use it tho due to my preference to Xai's shape(big hands, ikari is smaller in size)

It has a dodgy sensor though!

agree, BUT that's due to (all steelseries mice) being very sensitive to dust etc. sometimes it randomly skips(i have same with xai) cause a small dust thingy ends up in the sensor, fixed by simply picking the mouse up and putting it down again :D

Yeah, but i'm talking about the state of the mouse market in general. Razer, SS and Logitech all prefer the laser mice these days, but I don't comprehend why. Lower, stable sensors should be in mind.

well, I think the problem here is that it's all about 'better', faster, and mainly higher numbers in DPI as if that is better.

I find it hard to belive bcoz the sensor used in da was only made for razer and it had 1800dpi.

Looks interesting though I don't like the look of the shape. Shape I find the most important thing for me as it will be comfortable for hours if you know what to pick.

yea shape is most important idd, hence im using a Xai for my actual playing cause it fits my hand perfectly(no strains when ive done 6/7 hours straight of pc time, and im using highsens!)

actually the shape of the avatar mouse looks weird and uncomfy, but its actually quite nice, only problem i had so far is when u move it fast sometimes the bottom gets stuck(im using cloth pad, so might not be a problem with hard plastic pads or solid topping pads such as talent)

There's basically no mouse out there without any flaws, especially the new ones seem to be even worse than the old ones :-D

Gotta say the Zowie AM looks interesting though! Too bad it's way too expensive with 60e

Indeed, back on the IME3 now, can't stand the prediction of the 518 and the DA gives me god awful cramp!

The old MS mice would totally rock if they come with a built in 500hz (or even 1000hz) polling rate. At 125hz they are pretty much garbage, unless you use a pretty high sens. The shape of the IMO, IME and WMO are still superior to all modern mice (love those abbrevations :D)

i heard the zowie EC mice are quite nice aswell, im testing a nzxt mouse( http://www.nzxt.com/new/products/gaming_mice/avatar_s ) atm and i have to say, besides its dodgy look(it looks uncomfortable at first glance) buts its very nice when using it

Zowie Am performs nicely, was a bit too big for my hand though. Should be good for someone who likes the imo 1.1 though.

Yep, saw some comparision pictures of both and even a review of someone that was used to the 1.1.
I would have probably bought it if it was out 2-3 years ago. No need for it today.
Back then they decided to build in some stupid lasers and tons of glowing shit instead of concentrating on the actual performance of the mouse :-(

Zowie tend to do a decent job on mice, except the scroll wheel. On my third cause it keeps breaking :(

Been using it since summer 2009 perhaps? Great pad and has lasted very well. However, I now need to ensure that it has a good clean as it a little dirty.

I used to have tokens to take some money off the price, but it is invalid now. Try emailing and asking for one perhaps?

Tried 518, DA and WMO/IME1.1/IME3.0 on it and all work fine. Sidewinder did too.
