I think they are quite a lot of players who surpassed mystic aimwise on ET. I can think of undead,mAx, butchji, sqzz, perfo, tekoa?... And for me, eventho he may not have the teamplay of night and an unfailable brain, mAus is the best aimer this game has known.
Well because when people talk about skill globaly, they first think about aiming skills. I talked about aiming because i think mystic had nothing more brainwise than other players. But i guess it's hard to answer such a question while never having played with him.

Aimwise probably, there have been outstanding aimers since (and while) mystic was at his prime (Aza and butchji are probably the best examples here) but I can't name a single player right now that I would put on par with how ridiculously good mystic was back when he was in his best form compared to the general skill level then and now.
He definitely was, at one point I think he was aiming for at least one knife kill per game. As covert op of course. And his epic brain (rain of brain) of course got the humiliation done every time leading to many a Xpaz "stabbed @ internet" bind. :D
Yep. So far as 'ET' celebrity go there's only feruS & mAus in a similar league. There'd be over 1000 people watching on ETTV & they'd all be watching mystic. To the point of where I can embarassingly remember a midair revive at the back of Supply from the man himself - and you knew everyone else saw ços ETTV got flooded. That's how things were. He was by far the best player of that time.
