left forearm

So today I was at the gym working on my biceps. And my forearm started hurting from the first exercise which was the dumbbell curls. And kept hurting throughout the entire work out. It was fine yesterday when I worked out my back.
Any thoughts?

You should try:

a) wank with another hand for change

b) train your forearms you wanker.

say farewell to your gains
Parent
do biceps on back day?!
QuoteIt was fine yesterday when I worked out my back.

and now your forearms have muscle ache or your tendons are damaged

you need time to regenerate
Parent
Nobody gives a fuck, u mirin'?
stop wanking with left arm :|
I've been really working out in the gym this week for the first time since too long...
and had some aches ofcourse,
You either need to push trough or if the pain doesnt go away then like k1kzzzzz says take 1 or 2 days rest and regenerate.

Make sure u have a good warming up, not just lifting weights but for example try running for 10 min first or cycling for 10 or 15 min. (if you're not already doing that ofc :) )
It's just that ur body gets up to temperature.
When you do back exercises you tend you use alot of weight, additionally you rely on your forearms to have the power to keep the weight in the hands. You have probably just overworked them, but they're a small muscle should so recover fast.

Where does it hurt exactly? I had problems with my form arms when I did EZ curls, this I found was down to the fact my biceps were much stronger than what my grip could hold.

(The pain was especially bad when releasing the weight after I had finished the set or when i pressed in the middle of the forearm between the bone and the muscle.

In any injury, rest is probably the best cure, so take a break for a day or 2 and see how you feel, start light and build it up.

I'm not a medical guy, just a random bullshitter who is just good at it!
your forearm is shit bro.
your forearm is shit bro.
If it hurts right from the start the best solution is to definitely keep training like you did. nice one. Did you hand over your brain when you signed up for gym? Obviously rest your arm till it feels better smartass.
your forearm is shit bro.
Warm up to get your blood flowing :)

QuoteDoing dumbell curls

srsly dont do that
If it's pain, take some time off (1-2 days, forearms quickly recover)
If it's discomfort, man up

If the rest is not enough, try switching grips/exercises e.g. hammer curls, EZ curls, preacher curls
Also, if your grip strength is weak consider googling some exercises - I recommend the farmer's walk since it'll develop many more muscles than your forearms
how is your workout going bro? :)

good man

stats for 1rm are now around:

push press - 80kg
bench - 110kg
squat - 140kg
deadlift - 140-150kg

how about for you?
Parent
ahh bad tbh, i cant really focus on it like i would like to, really a lot of study since its my graduate year + im in relation ship so about 10 hours a day im out, but trying to workout always when i got some free time. Nice to see you improving, any pics?

The pain is over now but yesterday it was hurting like a bitch

Exactly no that position it would start hurting like a bitch, BUT I MANNED UP BRO, I REALLY DID. IT WAS HARD BRO, TEARS WERE COMING OUT BUT I STILL DID IT BRO!
Parent
your forearm is not strong enough to match your biceps -> train forearms

i don't know tbh
STOP CURLING SO MUCH MAN

I curl 4x/month and my cannons are at least 40cm
:(
I feel way too weak bro , I told you.
Parent
I often have this too, and just man the fuck up and continue training.

I think i should train my forearms since i never do that.

ps; dont do biceps after back day, you obviously already train your biceps during backtraining.
thoughts = building muscle looks nice but but especially with modern fast-paced techniques you are actually harming your body in the long term and will be fucked and fat later on with bad joint pains gl
I only have it when using a straightbar (olympic bar) when doing barbell curls, what helps is really keep the tension in your arms (stretch) after you done your set and slowly release tension from your arms. Just ignore the pain and it will go away eventually or use a easycurl bar

boom g5
ITS NOT THAT EASY BRO, WAHAHHAHA :*(
It's over now, at least I think.
Parent
I do all my curling with dumbbells or in cable machines. I dont want to fuck my wrists because of curling. :D
Parent
I tend to switch between straightbar, easycurlbar and dumbells every now and then. But then again, I've never had problem with my wrists :d
Parent
Thats bullshit
