IRC keeps crashing

my X-Chat 2 crashed a few hours ago, and now I can't get it to work...
I get a Runtime error every time I attempt to join IRC:
Google hasn't really helped, any ideas?

have you tried restarting?
• Microsoft.NET Framework® 3.5 or later.
• MSXML 4.0 SP2 Parser and SDK
• Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) 2.8 or later.
The MSXML seems like a fairly specific version, i dont know if you need a different one or one at all for xchat.
