I finally decided to move to a smartphone but I have no fucking idea what to use. I'm no apple faggot but I thought it was "the" smartphone of the moment but meh.
I thought about HTC Desire HD, looks pretty nice, anyone experienced it already?
Any other recommendations?

etc levi kaob lampi, ekraan vahest ei vunka korraklikulta aga muidu ok.
its an amazing phone, it runs Windows Phone OS and I must say the OS is different then you expect but not in a bad way.
Also its made by Nokia which is beastly and it has the best design ive ever seen on a phone
Note: some people have bad batteries when they use 3g+wifi 24/7
personally i never had a problem with the battery
the average is 2 days for me
i have a cyan version
I now have a samsung galaxy s-plus. Better price/performence ratio, but i'm not totally satisfied. But it does the job. Maybe the HTC ones are more polished than the samsung thingys. But imo you dont need to go for the top-end ones as they are usually overpriced to their little brothers and sisters (my roommate has a galaxy s2 and its hardly better than mine)
Why aren't you satisfied with the galaxy s-plus?
Can I install skype/msn and other shits too? (yes I still use msn in 2012) and I know it might look stupid for a question but I have seriously no idea how it works.
I'm not totally satisfied is because it has one or few flaws/bugs that happen from time to time, especially with Firefox as it seems to eat too much RAM to use. Other than that it does a pretty good job. Importing contacts was also alot harder compared to doing it on a HTC phone, but once done it was no problem.
Why did you smash your htc :D it sounds awful! Were you satisfied with it? I like how it looks and same for galaxy s-plus. Can't decide now :(
Galaxy s2 > iphone 4s > Galaxy i9000.
LAN much in June ?
I got N900, yeye old etc, but it works and has a physical keyboard +32g build in memory. Planning to flash it to gingerbread android, if I can reason the why to myself.
Will go for e7 next, tried it few times and it rocks.
thx tho
Got it for 235 at Amazon Warehouse deals around new year. Yes, the hardware is somewhat older than the expensive phones and it doesn't come with a dual core and all that. However so far it performed any app I threw at it without any problems and it probably still will in a couple of months/year.
Also I don't have to be scared to walk around with more than an entire monthly pay check in my pockets :-P
(Yes, poor student is super poor!)
Friend of mine got a SII and apart from the nicer screen (and probably better performance in the future) I much prefer the DesireS. Also I find the SII to be too big already to use/fit in pocket comfortably.
You can get the HTC Evo 3D currently for ridiculously low prices in Germany (230 something?)
It really depends on how much you'd like to spend :-)
Also, it has to be pretty simple to use since I'm quite noobish in this things.
It took me 1-2 days to get used to Android after switching from webOS, so it's really easy to use. Can't really comment on iOS, have never really used it. Doubt it's much harder/easier considering both systems copy cat mentality and success :-)
Before you buy the phone, I'd then suggest going to a shop where you can get your hands on them and check out their sizes and feel.
don't talk about that anymore, as far as I tested it, this is one of the slowest OS i've ever seen
Yeah. You just need to jailbreak iphones to be able to get anything for free for it :D and then you have got some fucked up way to recharge it when it runs out of battery. Just keep it simple and keep talking about android since everyone knows its the stablest and probably still better on someway than w7
thx :)
Just wanted to post useless comment.
The smartest move would be to wait for the Galaxy S III
if youre going for a sensation, go for the SE version, it comes with doctor dre in ear headphones as standard... dunno if thats only a UK version though and maybe not available in EU?
Blackberry - 9900 , 9790, both great after the updates sorting out the battery issues. blackberry screens and sound quality is amazing, and really underappreciated. might not be for you though if you dont use email as much.but i love them...plus the price of the playbook has come down and i use mine all the time, great product.
Iphone 4s is a great phone, SIRI sucks big balls though and is just a gimmick. (doesnt recognise my scottish accent at all the shitcunt). the camera and new processor really make the phone worthwhile and for apps, its brilliant.
Samsungs suck. the S2 will give you about 6 monthsthen itll go massively wrong. the galaxy ace is decent and mid range in price, might be a better option...
Sony ericsson are shit, stick to tv's sony!
I thought about blackberry but I dont know much about it.
what do you think about the htc desire s?
I personally cant see anything to justify 100e+ difference between iPhone 4S and its direct competitors (such as SGSII, its ridiculous that SGSII is 2/3 of price of 4S). And google with its android is a keeper, syncing with google account and providing tons of free features/functions.
The Android phones are, I would say, price worthy. Samsung Galaxy S 2 is one of the beasts to compare with.
Sim only contract ~ £10/15 per month
Not so expensive anymore :)
Either that, or they're about £35+ per month for a good contract (best I found was £30 p/m - 300mins, 5000texts, 500mb inet + free phone)
t-mobile do the best offer around just now though. full monty 41 , unlimited everything and £29 for the 16 gig 4s. you can use it to tether free and it works with skype etc too.
im great matey, yeah, hows yerself?
Best I found was as stated above^
But anyhow, I'm trying to get an iPhone off eBay (or similar) for cheap & then looking to get a sim-only contract :)
for a cheaper one, huawei stuff
