Seems the Congress has just passed a bill that not only allows U.S. to go to war with Iran, but vaguely demands it.

Many experts believe war with Iran would lead to global economy crisis and the chances aren't slim.
This wouldn't hurt America's economy because it's already at the verge of bankrupt and for the very same reason is now waging war. If you have the world's largest army it's only logical to use it.
NATO and Israel are of course bound to be part of the upcoming military action, stay tuned.

What seems to be the problem?
The documents prove what was only assumed until now: Italy should never have been accepted into the common currency zone. The decision to invite Rome to join was based almost exclusively on political considerations at the expense of economic criteria. My vague understanding of non-binding resolutions (generally gleamed from reading Salon & TV shows!) is that not only is it without teeth, it's generally just used as a way to bitch slap the President or show support for a minority opinion.
We've known for years that US politicians / the public think Iran having a nuke would be legitimate grounds to bomb them so I'm not overly concerned. I'll have a read but I'd be surprised if there wasn't something behind this (Israel?) that's prompted it to come at this time & it's just being used to reassure someone.
