Has anyone with the freezing problem had any luck fixing it? Any ideas? It's tempting to just format windows partition and stick on linux to play ET, but I'd like to find another solution if possible. It seems this "bug" isn't being fixed anytime soon, so any ideas of a workaround would be super.
