nade bug script

After getting bored I made a video of the nade bug that can be done in ET.
Im talking about the bug where you execute the throwing animation without actually throwing it
I know most of you guys know this stuff already but I guess this can be useful for those who dont know yet or are just too lazy to make a working script.

QuoteYou can do this bug by holding, releasing and then holding the nade again. After that you can throw the nade whenever you want (within the five seconds of course).

Here is a little script you can use to do it whenever you hold a nade.

bind 1 "weaponbank 1; com_maxfps 100; bind mouse1 +vstr gewoonon gewoonoff"
bind 2 "weaponbank 2; com_maxfps 100; bind mouse1 +vstr gewoonon gewoonoff"
bind 3 "weaponbank 3; com_maxfps 100; bind mouse1 +vstr gewoonon gewoonoff"
bind 4 "weaponbank 4; com_maxfps 100; bind mouse1 +vstr nadeon nadeoff"
bind 5 "weaponbank 5; com_maxfps 100; bind mouse1 +vstr gewoonon gewoonoff"
bind 6 "weaponbank 6; com_maxfps 100; bind mouse1 +vstr gewoonon gewoonoff"
bind 7 "weaponbank 7; com_maxfps 100; bind mouse1 +vstr gewoonon gewoonoff"
bind 8 "weaponbank 8; com_maxfps 100; bind mouse1 +vstr gewoonon gewoonoff"
bind 9 "weaponbank 9; com_maxfps 100; bind mouse1 +vstr gewoonon gewoonoff"

set nadeon "+attack;wait 5;-attack;wait 5;+attack"
set nadeoff "-attack; -attack"

set gewoonon "+attack"
set gewoonoff "-attack; -attack"

and whats the benefit of it?
it shows the throwing animation without you actually throwing the nade, this bug has been known since the dawn of time. i used to do it by just timing a nade, releasing the mousbutton and pressing it again quickly

It can be quite useful in some situations where you'll fool people into thinking youve just thrown a nade into their direction and their first response to it would be to jump away, and that's when you actually throw it

lean n throw nade
Parent
do the same with dynamite. It looks quite funny :))
i dont even use it, more fun to throw it when people walk towards you in a doorway or over a wall.

And srsly , a script for releasing your mouse button 0.5 sec and holding it again....
Beter be making a automatic aimbot with walkpath and objective path
I don't think showing a bug and encouraging to use it is the best thing to do.
why a script when u just have to release mouse1 for 0.5ms?

+ u can lean while these 0.5ms
yeah thats the only thing ive ever used it for :p leaning, not bugging like shrugging(?) back in the days

I've had an idea to make a video of bunch of bugs, this included too but I can't be arsed to edit it :(
tbh ive never seen that but thats probably because nobody legitly good would never bother with something like that
I know XyLoS used it and many other guys too. Situation where you cook a grenade before you lean come about quite often.
Parent
ye i know and do that too but i cant see model of myself, and i dont recall seeing it for faking purposes
Parent
Quotei dont recall seeing it for faking purposes

I did mentioned XyLos because in an official match, years back, he tricked me with that. Before, i used this bug too, but just to get into lean. : )

It can help in some situations but it is hardly practical.

lol old

script does what?
shut up lagscripter
moof

Well if course it can be handy, but I've noticed that releasing the grenade (when using this script or hold-release-hold) it bugs and the grenade is a bit tardy (falls behind of a fast mouse movement). If you don't use the trick your grenades won't have this glitch!
I havent had any glitch(using it since 6 months or so) the only problem i have is the shitty nadedrop when selfkilling while timing

And how is this bug? Tap mouse1 on and off while ticking
bugs for noobs, raw aim ftw
or whine all over the place at lan ftw
